I was born and raised in Central Florida. My hometown was a small, rural community outside of Wauchula. Being the son of a Baptist minister, we moved several times as I was growing up. I attended several schools in the Tampa Bay Area before graduating from Largo Senior High School in 1978.

My interest in Taxidermy started in 1983 when I first took a course with Northwestern School of Taxidermy and began working with a local taxidermist to develop this hobby, the hobby that would one day turn out to be the business that I would choose to make a career. I have spent all of my life in the outdoors as both an avid hunter and fisherman, and where I have been blessed to observe nature and its creatures in their natural settings.

Born and raised in the Brandon area, my wife of 24 years, Jo Ann, graduated from Brandon High School in 1981. We were married in 1985 at St. Andrews Methodist Church in Brandon, Florida. We have a wonderful son, Shane, that graduated from Plant City High School in 2005.

I was born in Southern Indiana and moved to Florida in the early 70's. For most of my life, I was raised in Florida. I graduated from Seminole High School in 1983. I have a 11-year old daughter, Madison.

I grew up hunting and fishing with my father and I am now sharing that passion with Madison. I studied taxidermy at Central Florida Studios under Brenda Lindsey (www.centralfloridataxidermy.com). Robert and I have been in business together for three years now. I am a member of Shiloh Baptist Church where Madison and I are growing together.
